• Good news for Filipinos! NBI clearance made
  easier thru e-clearance or online
  application. The Department of Justice (DOJ)
  issued a press release stating applicants for the
  NBI clearance can apply and fill-out the complete
  form thru online registration system beginning
  Friday, January 24, 2014.

• The so-called e-clearance system requires
  information such as clearance registration,
  information of the applicant, contact details,
  family background and other pertinent details.

• Sec Leila de Lima, the Justice Secretary, said
  "With the implementation of the new NBI system,
  we shall continue to roll-out and implement
  solutions to progressively eliminate queues and
  simplify processes,  online application is the
  logical next step after the switch.
