Introduction Online education is not a very
old concept. It is something that has evolved in
the past few years and is growing continuously
even today. It was back in 90s when first of
the online courses were offered by different
schools and colleges.

online courses were introduced, most people
didnt hold a positive view of them. Most people
thought that these degrees are not credible and
are as worthy as a degree earned in conventional
learning system.

Continued But with the gradual advancements in
the fields of technology and education this
perception started to change. The changing
corporate culture also played its part in
eliminating this perception. And now everyone
from employers to students to academic experts
have accepted the worth and importance of online
education.

fairly the same between both learning process.
The biggest difference is that online schooling
system is more open as compared to its
conventional counterpart. It is more flexible and
convenient which doesnt exist in conventional
on-campus education.

difference between both the systems. In the case
of on-campus education a student has to follow a
pre-defined schedule and learning process. This
doesn't happen in the case of online education.
In case of online education can attend the
virtual classroom anytime the student wants to.
