If you are looking to burn fat, the Atkins Diet
Plan will do just that. On this diet, you are
taking in less carbs so your body can burn
ketones which will help in burning the fat from
your body much faster.

You should never ever be hungry on the Atkins
Diet because your main source of protein will be
from meats. Since meats take longer to digest,
this is what is going to help you to stay fuller
longer.

There are 4 phases which you must follow while on
the Atkins Diet Plan. Phase 1 is the induction
plan which you will remain on for about 2 weeks
only. You are allowed to eat a total of 20 grams
of net carbs. 12 to 15 grams of net carbs from
the 20 must be eaten from veggies (except the
starchy veggies)and/or salads.

Phase 2 is where you can add more carbs to your
diet. You can then add fruits such as all types
of berries, yogurt, and nuts too. Your net carb
grams are going to be between 25 and 45. This is
going to be a little longer phase. In other
words, you will stay on this phase until you are
at least 10 - 15 pound away from your goal weight.

Phase 3 is when you are at least 10 to 15 pound
away from your goal weight. You can add more net
carbs like whole grains, some starchy vegetables
and fruits. You should stay on Phase 3 for about
a month after you have reach your goal weight.
Another, you can eat between 50 to 70 net carbs a
day on this phase.

Phase 4 is your life time maintenance phase. This
is where you will remain for life. As long as you
are eating the low carb way, you will be able to
eat'75 plus net carb grams every single day. This
phase is going to help you to maintain/stay on
your goal weight.

Remember the main goal is The Atkins foods that
you eat will help you to cut back on carbs.
Eating low carbs means that your body will spend
more time burning the fat. Keep burning the fat
and you will maintain your goal weight.
