  • There are about 450 SBICs all over the USA.
  • Each one is licensed and regulated by the SBA
    The Small Business Administration.
  • While they are owned by the SBA, they actually
    are a privately owned and managed investment firm
    that provides venture capital and startup
    financing to small businesses.
