Do not store up for yourselves treasures on
earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where
thieves break in and steal.
But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven,
where moth and rust do not destroy, and where
thieves do not break in and steal.
For where your treasure is, there your heart
will be also. Matthew 619-21

Sell your possessions and give to the poor.
Provide money belts for yourselves that will not
wear out, a treasure in heaven that will not be
exhausted. Luke 1232-34

looking for what may be credited to your
account. Philippians 417

  • The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes
are good, your whole body will be full of light.
But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be
full of darkness. If then the light within you is
darkness, how great is that darkness!...

  • No one can serve two masters. Either he will
hate the one and love the other, or he will be

The DotLife on earth
The LineLife in heaven
Moses chose to be mistreated along with the
people of God rather than to enjoy the pleasures
of sin for a short time. He regarded disgrace for
the sake of Christ as of greater value than the
treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead
to his reward. Hebrews 1125-26
22
He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to
gain what he cannot lose. Jim Elliot, 1927
1956 1927
23
KEY 5 Givingis the only antidoteto
materialism.
24
People who want to get rich fall into temptation
and a trap and into many foolish and harmful
desires that plunge men into ruin and
destruction.
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of
evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered
from the faith and pierced themselves with many
griefs.
1 Timothy 69-10
25
Command those who are rich in this present world
not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in
wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their
hope in God, who richly provides us with
everything for our enjoyment. 1 Timothy 617
26
Command them to do good,to be rich in good
deeds, and to be generous and willing to
share. In this way they will lay up treasure for
themselves as a firm foundation for the coming
age, so that they may take hold of the life that
is truly life. 1 Timothy 618-19
27
KEY 6 God prospers me not to raise my
standard of living, but to raisemy standard of
giving.

Gods Grace Lightning

Our GivingThunder
29
As thunder follows lightning,
giving follows grace.
The more Gods grace grips you, the more you
give. The more you give, the more Gods grace
grips you.
30
Grace given by God
More Joy, more giving
Joy overflowing us
A cycle of addiction
Giving Grace welling up in rich generosity
31
.remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself
said It is more blessed to give than to
receive. Acts 2035
Keep remembering that our Master said, Youre
far happier giving than getting. Acts 2035,
The Message
32
Test me in this giving not only of tithes, but
freewill offerings and see if I will not throw
open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so
much blessing that you will not have room enough
for it. Mal. 310
Jesus said, Give, and it will be given to you. A
good measure, pressed down, shaken together and
running over, will be poured into your lap, for
with the measure you use, it will be measured to
you. Luke
638
33
He will also supply and increase your store of
seed and will enlarge the harvest of your
righteousness. You will be made rich in every

  • 6 Remember this Whoever sows sparingly will
also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously
    will also reap generously.

36
  • Jesus said, Give, and it will be given to
you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken
together and running over, will be poured into
your lap, for with the measure you use, it will
be measured to you. Luke 638
  • The question isnt whether God often prospers
    givers, but why.

37
  • The most generous Christians of my acquaintance
have been always the most happy, and almost
invariably the most prosperous Men trust good
stewards with larger and larger sums, and so it
frequently is with the Lord He gives by
cartloads to those who give by bushels. Where
wealth is not bestowed the Lord makes the little
    much by giving contentment.
