  Wednesday, 2/13/08
• Applications are available in the Counseling
  Office. Applications will be accepted starting
  on Friday, February 22 at 630 AM. Openings are
  limited and will be filled on a first come
  first serve basis.

Your test scores are reported as scale scores
1-32 and as percentages. There are four tests
and an overall COMPOSITE score an average for
the whole test.

So how did I do?

• In this example, the students overall Composite
  score is 18.
• His percentages tell us that he did
• as well or better than 73 of all 10th graders,
• as well or better than 49 of WHS 10th graders
• as well or better than 67 of all college-bound
  10th graders

So how did I do?
Look at your composite score to get your overall
performance on the test. Look at your scores on
the four tests (and note that English and Math
are divided into two subtest areas) to get a
sense of your testing strengths and weaknesses.

Your PLAN Test Scores
Your Skills (item analysis on the back side of
your results)
You can use the item responses to see which items
you answered correctly and which ones you did
not. The explanations given can really help you
understand how you take standardized tests and
help you prepare for the ACT examination.

is predicted to be if you make normal academic
progress. Our average student goes up about 3
points from the PLAN to the ACT.

Career Interest Inventory Results

• An Interest Inventory is not a test.
• It doesnt measure anything meaning it doesnt
  say you have the skills or talents to do a
  certain job.
• It does take your preferences and organizes
  them into patterns that might help point out
  directions for you to explore.

This survey is based on the theory that people
are happiest if there is a good match between
their personalities and the personality types
of the careers they choose. Your answers are
compared with the answers of people who enjoy
various types of occupations.

pink dot is the area you selected from a list of
career areas, indicating it is an area of some
interest to you.

consider. Dont worry if it shows Region 99.
Thats means you have mixed interests or dont
