• The ECCMA Open Technical Dictionary (eOTD) is
  based on the NATO Codification System (NCS) but
  has more modern database architecture and is
  oriented toward the commercial world
• eOTD contains the multilingual aspect of the NCS
  Data is available in more than 12 languages

• The ECCMA Open Technical Dictionary (eOTD) is an
  open technical dictionary of cataloging concepts
  used to create unambiguous language independent
  descriptions of individuals, organizations,
  locations, goods and services.

SIMPLIFIED STEP CODIFICATION (SSC)

  tagged into STEP design files in a standardized
  manner
• The method will be described in ISO Standard
  22745, Part 200, and is currently in development
