  celebration (March 25-April 1)
• 1582, in France, the calendar was changed to
  calendar year as we know it (January 1st as New
  Years Day)

• Some resisted the change in the calendar, and
  others didnt know about it these were
  considered fools
• Various tricks and pranks were played on these
  people, and eventually on others, yelling April
  Fool
