Objectives of the workshop

• To learn the current malaria situation of
  Ethiopia
• To follow up the previous 2 media-people
  workshops
• To bring new partners from regions esp. Afar,
  Somali and Benshangule Gumuz
• To strengthen capacity media people to fight
  against malaria in their respective regions in
  order to mobilize political support and increase
  resource allocations for malaria
• To strengthen partnership and links for
  coordinated advocacy and resource mobilization

• To increase media coverage and policy debates on
  malaria
• To increase policy and advocacy on malaria
• To help unified media action at country level
  using effective technical approaches
• To look into mechanisms to produce Activists
  for malaria
• To celebrate World Malaria Day
