Presentation of TDA

• In 1957 the Algerian broadcasting was created by
  the Frensh under the aegis of the ORTF.
• In october 1962, the later become the RTA,
  national broadcasting compagny
• In 1991, the RTA was organised with the new
  compagnies
• - Teledifusion dAlgerie (TDA) for
  the transport
• of the signal (carrier)
• - ENTV for the TV production
• - ENRS for the radio production

Mission

• The main role of the TDA is the dispatching of
  the TV and radio programs provided by the studios
  ( ENTV and ENRS ) in all the country and outside.
• Mission of TDA is summarized in
• Improving the coverage of TV and radio
• Renewal of the technical installations
• Carrying out the public services mission,and
• The exploitation and the maintenance of the
  network

System

• In 1973 , new CCIR B and G/PAL color system
  brodcasting was introduced using VHF and UHF
  channel
• At present,VHF channels (Band III-7MHz ) and UHF
  channels (Band IV and V -8MHz) are allocated as
  analog televison channels in ITU-R system B and G
  (625 lines) respectively

  Intelsat/Domsat and NSS-7)
• One analogue for terrestrial broadcasting in the
  south (Intelsat/Domsat)

• One channel via EUTELSAT for Europe ( Canal
  Algérie)
• One channel via EUTELSAT for Internet connexion
  (carrier statut)
• One program in the bouquet (DTH) via Astra for
  Europe
• One channel DTH TV via NSS-7 for USA (Ku Band)
