Videoconferencing from Home Program
  • Enables SMA faculty to conduct high-quality
    videoconferences with NUS and NTU from home
  • What is required to join
  • Broadband Internet access from home, i.e. Comcast
  • A PC with Win XP or Win 2000
  • A PC-based personal videoconferencing unit such
    as ViaVideo or ViGO
  • SMAs loaner program
  • A small number of ViGOs available for a 2-3 week
    trial
  • Technical support
  • Installation documentation on the SMA website
  • Videoconferencing units to be self-installed
  • First line of support from SMAs FLs, Molly and
    Peter
  • Second line of support from AMPS

  • Use of NetMeeting documented in the instructions
  • Proven, familiar capability to share and annotate
    documents
  • Whiteboarding functionality built-in with an
    electronic pen or with recommended writing tools
