4How have you used the Draw toolbar?
- Create icons or graphics, buttons, backgrounds,
and frames - Add captions, text boxes
- Draw lines, tables, and make charts
- Arrange objects

Click on the object one time to show the handles
Click one corner handle and resize the object
Click on the object, pull down the Edit menu, and
select Copy (CTRL C) . . .
. . . and then select Paste (CTRL V) four times

Select the column of buttons, copy and paste two
more columns, and use the align and distribute
features to align the objects into three aligned
columns.
Use the Rectangle Tool to draw a box around the
buttons.
Next, click on the rectangle and use the Fill
tool to change the background color.
Finally, with the box still highlighted, use the
arrow keys on the keyboard to position it behind
the buttons.
Click on the Draw menu and select the Order
option. Choose Send to back to move the box
behind the buttons.
12Linking
Before linking the buttons to websites or other
files, first ungroup the buttons by selecting
each column, and choose Ungroup from the Draw
menu.
Click on the first button to highlight it, and
then select the Insert menu and choose Hyperlink.
Insert a Text box and type in CTAP. Place it
over the first button. You have titled the first
button.
Follow the same process for the next button
downChoose Insert, Hyperlink, and select
Existing File or Web Page. Link this button to a
file on your computer. Use the Text box feature
to create a title for the button.
Choose the third button in the first column, and
pull down the Slide Show menu. Choose Action
Settings. Click on the first radio button titled
Hyperlink to. Pull down the menu and select
First Slide. This will activate this button to
take you back to the first slide your
presentation. Add the Text box to make a title
for the button.

Type in a web address in the Address box and
click OK. You have just created a button to a
web page on the Internet.
