• Began with the Senior Adult Transportation Study
  (SATS)
• Implementation Strategy

• Senior focused, but desire to expand to others.
• Provides detailed travel training.
• Soon available on-demand for groups
• Expansion is dependent on coordination and
  volunteers (Bus Buddies)
• Future target groups paratransit, students,
  hispanic, etc.

Cobb Freedom Voucher Program
Cobb County Mobility Management

• Clients are 60 and over, qualified for
  paratransit, but live outside the service area.
• Has replaced previous voucher program as Cobb
  Senior Services
• Partnership between Cobb DOT and CSS
• Marketing is necessary, but be wary of
  unintentional results.
• Would like to see program not age restricted.
• New program constantly adjusting.
• Consistently trying to recruit vendors.

Guaranteed Paratransit Route 10/12
Cobb County Mobility Management

• Over and above ADA
• Coordination
• Act as a liaison between passengers and CCT/MARTA
  paratransit departments to coordinate
  inter-jurisdictional trips.
• Maintain a constant presence at CCT/MARTA
  transfer point to identify potential problems
  with and inter-jurisdictional trip and address it
  before it impacts the paratransit passenger.
