Major Storm

• California was hit with its second major storm
  this month.
• It dumped heavy amounts of snow northeast of Los
  Angles.
• Also unavailing heavy rain across the entire
  southern part of the state

Storm Injuries

• The downpour lead to an accident in Orange County
  when a 14 year old girl was struck and killed by
  a car on her way to school.
• In Los Angeles County a man was found dead in the
  Los Angeles River.
• In Sun City a rescue firefighter team saved 7
  people trapped in their vehicles in a 4-foot
  flood.

Traffic Delays

• A mudslide in San Birnardino County caused
  authorities to close interstate 215 in both
  directions.
• Flooded streets in San Diego brought traffic on
  the interstates to a crawl.

Recorded Falls

• Los Angeles has recorded about 4.5 inches of rain
  this month.
• San Diego has had about 4.2 inches this month.
• Central Sierra has had about 48 inches of snow
  this month.

Power Outages

• In Southern California nearly 17,300 customers
  were without power.
• In the Bay area thousands were cut of their power.
