Definition Of eBazaar
  • Like the name suggests, E-Bazaar is an electronic
    bazaar or marketplace for enabling online bidding
    and purchases. It is an e-marketplace where
    buyers are able to place / receive quotes on
    orders directly on the net.
  • DirectBiz buyers can use this section to invite
    quotations from the suppliers, review the
    quotations and place orders with the most
    suitable bidder.

  • Enquiries may be placed to supplier/s.
  • Selected suppliers can then quote for these
    enquiries.
  • Buyers would then be able to choose the Best
    Price / Delivery Date and confirm the orders.

  • Buyers are also able to place enquiries direct
    with offices.
  • Offices then use their knowledge of suppliers
    working with them to forward these enquiries to
    selected suppliers.
  • The office then awaits bids from suppliers and
    forwards a consolidated, modified bid to the
    buyer.
  • The buyer then awards bids to the supplier/s
    directly.

  • It must be noted that both the b2b and b2b2b
    scenarios may occur at the same time as buyer can
    choose BOTH offices and suppliers when placing
    enquiries.
  • DirectBiz buyers will then receive bids from both
    office/s and supplier/s.
  • In the b2b2b scenario, the office acts as a
    conduit for the buyer, helping in the choice of
    suppliers most suited to fulfill the order.

Offices role in aB2B2B Scenario
  • The office, first acts as a supplier accepting
    enquiries from buyers. It then forwards the
    enquiries to selected suppliers and receives bids
    from them (acting like a buyer in this phase).
  • It then modifies the bids before sending a
    consolidated bid to the buyer (acting like a
    supplier).

    moves it to a temporary folder.
  • Only buyers can archive or unarchive an enquiry.

  • Suppliers offices can view archived enquiries
    to track old orders.
