    Yoga, Pilates even Martial Arts Specialty
    Instructors as well as Personal Trainers, Squash,

  • It is a great reference to see if resort teaching
    is a good fit for you.

    spot for the day will be on a lounger on the
    beach or pool decisions, decisions.catch up on
    some easy reading or light conversation
  • 1000am Arrive to class location prepare for
    class and welcome guests
  • 1015am Teach a beach stretch-based class Yoga

  • 1030am Take in some water sports and collect
    some sea shells
  • 1200pm Teach a Aqua Fit Class fun, fun, fun

  • 530pm - As class is finishing, watch the
    breathtaking sunset.
  • 600pm - Shower and dress for dinner
  • 700pm Enjoy a cocktail in the lounge while
    chatting with new friends that you met at class
    earlier in the day
  • 800pm - Experience a wonderful dinner of local
    cuisine while enjoying the beauty of the
    surroundings, and best of all no dishes!
  • 900pm More decisions.Should I catch a show or
    disco, enjoy a stroll along the beach with
    companion, sit at the piano bar, or enjoy an
    early night of RR

  • Tips to ensure your success
  • ? Resort classes are not as demanding as in your
    facility at homeremember that everyone is on
    vacation!
  • ? Many formats will be mind-body focused versus a
    traditional fitness class. Be prepared Basic
    step, low-impact aerobic conditioning and muscle
    conditioning incorporating yoga and Pilates,
    stretch and relaxation and basic aquatic
    exerciselength will vary between 30-60 minutes
    in length. Provide guests with ex-ertainment.
  • ? Popular consumer based videos are your best
    resourceinsightful!

Tips to ensure your success 3. Meet with either
the entertainment manager/property manager on
arrival day, familiarize yourself with the event
planner for the week, your teaching schedule and
other special events-attend them ie Managers
cocktail party, talent show, pool side, introduce
yourself and promote your classes- complementary
schedule and bio of yourself. 4. Go with the
resort flow. Have funmake it fun for the guests
and make an impressionon the guests and the
resort. Build on the resort themes/special
events or create your own!
