  • Applicants will be able to self-report test
    scores. Official test scores will be collected
    by SOPHAS for the following tests
  • PCAT (124)
  • MCAT (SOPHAS)
  • GRE (5688)
  • TOEFL (5688)
  • Applicants will send official scores for the
    following tests directly to designated schools
  • GMAT
  • LSAT
  • DAT

  • Letters of Reference
  • Three letters of reference will be required but
    because schools may have differing requirements
    up to five will be allowed.
  • References will have the ability to submit either
    via hard copy or online.
  • Committee letters will count as one reference.
  • Letters received via university reference
    services will count individually.
  • References will submit one reference per
    applicant, which will be forwarded to all schools
    to which the applicant is applying.
  • References that wish to send a tailored letter
    for an individual school may submit those letters
    directly to the schools.

  • Application Cycle
  • During the first year, SOPHAS will be open until
    August 1, 2007.
  • SOPHAS will be closed between August 1 and
    September 15, starting in 2007.
  • Schools will each have their own deadlines and
    may have multiple deadlines for their various
    programs.

SOPHAS Fees
  • U.S. Applicants who can demonstrate financial
    need will receive a fee waiver for the first
    application. These applicants will be
    responsible for incremental fees above the first
    application.
  • Financial need is defined as income of less than
    200 of the current US poverty level.
  • McNair Scholars and Project 2000 applicants will
    receive a waiver for three designation upon proof
    of their participation in those programs.
