The Greater Tulsa Area communities recognize that
the Arkansas River Corridor is an important
natural resource that could be developed to
stimulate immense private investment and greatly
improve the quality of life for current and
future generations.

- Project authorized under PL 108-137 in
2004. - Currently 90 of the system is already 12 foot
deep. - Scope Increase the minimum channel depth from 9
foot to 12 foot, modify the existing flow
management plan, and perform channel maintenance
dredging. Provide environmental mitigation.
