Theodore fascinating learning
  • Theodore was always interested in learning when
    growing up. When he found about animal extinction
    he knew when he grew up he would find a to save
    all animals, such as our nations bird the bald
    eagle.

  • Theodore Roosevelt Birthplace is located at 28
    East 20th Street New York, between Broadway and
    Park Avenue South. Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th
    President of the United States, lived at this
    site from his birth on October 27, 1858 until he
    was 14 years old. The reconstructed house
    contains five period rooms, two museum galleries
    and a bookstore.
  • Teedie, as young Roosevelt was nicknamed, was a
    sickly but bright boy, from a wealthy family. To
    improve his health, Teedie began an exercise
    program at the house's outdoor gymnasium that
    started a lifelong passion for the "strenuous
    life."

    natural resources the land, forests, and rivers.
    He agreed to protect 150 million acres of
    wilderness land.

Teddy and his bear
Teddy Bears are named after Theodore. When he was
hunting he refused to kill a bear. And a toy
maker came up with the idea of a Teddy Bear.

    chest , he would not let the people take him to a
    hospital before giving his important speech.
