Qui Est Mon Bébé ?
7
PiPi, Cest Moi !

This is my dog, Pipi, or Bébé in French. She was
once a stray dog near Naval Academy, but I
adopted her as my daughter, and since then, she
has become the focus of my life. We went to work
together whether in sunshine or storms we
traveled on freeway bus together between
Taipei and Kaohsiung, the bus driver knowing
nothing about an un-paying passenger on board.
She also lived in my dorm at the academy, which
is against school regulations. But of course,
her licks were worth the risk.
8
Three Crises
  • crisis 2 during her stay with my parents in
Taipei, a fierce typhoon came and flooded the
house. Pipi capered briskly to the first floor
and made a dive into the murky swirling water
  • crisis 3 I decided to immigrate to Canada and
take MLIS program at UBC, which means, my parents
will take care of Pipi for two years. She will
make sure she gets what she wants, anything, be
it good or bad for health, from two doting,
    pampering grandparents
  • crisis 1 the superintendent of Naval Academy, a
vice- admiral, once paid a visit to our office
unexpectedly. Pipi made a dash to his pant legs,
snarling and baring her sharp teeth
