Schedule
  • 4 Present proposals at the Jul04 plenary and
Sep04 vote on the individual contributions that
will comprise the draft at the Sep04 meeting.
  • 5 Draft complete by Nov04 Plenary. (This is
the hardest part of the schedule!)
  • 6 At Nov04 meeting, we move the draft be put to
    letter ballot.
  • 7 30 day letter ballot period between Nov04 and
    Jan05 meetings.
  • 8 Our primary Jan05 meeting activity is comment
    resolution
  • 9 Put draft into recirc ballot in Jan05
    meeting.

4
Schedule
  • 10 15 day recirculation ballot period between
    Jan05 and Mar05
  • 11 Comment resolution during Mar05 meeting.
  • 12 At Mar05 meeting, seek approval from ExCom
    to go to sponsor ballot.
  • 13 30 day sponsor ballot between Mar05 and
    May05 meetings
  • 14 Comment resolution during May05 meeting
  • 15 10 day recirculation ballot between May05
    and Jul05 meetings
  • 16 At Jul05 meeting, seek approval from ExCom
    to submit draft to RevCom.
  • 17 RevCom meets in September.
  • 18 At Nov06 meeting, rejoice, drink champagne,
    laugh and cry over TG3a.

Notes about Fast Schedule
  • Between voting on the contents of the draft
(4, July 04) and submitting a complete draft
(5, September 05) is only two months. I have
ideas on how to manage this, but this should be
viewed as a red flag. Let's discuss.
  • If we have an outstanding NO vote going into
the Jan05 meeting (12), rather than seeking a
sponsor ballot, we can seek conditional approval
under procedure 10. (We did this on TG4, as I
recall.) There will follow a 15 day recirculation
ballot, and assuming no new NO votes, will enter
    the 30 sponsor ballot period.
