The 5-Period DayImproved Pedagogy,
Cross-Curricular Learning Skills, Improving
Literacy

The Research
  • 75 minute classes are too long for any age. Even
universities structure shorter periods of time.
  • 60 minutes has been shown to be a good balance
between productive attention span and offering
specialized subjects adequate time for set up,
take down, changing clothes, and clean up.

3
The Research
  • Factors attributed to success
  • Primary natural intelligence
  • Secondary natural intelligence/organization and
    time management
  • Post Secondary organization and time management
  • Work/Career interpersonal skills
  • (Dr. Harvey P. Mandel York University)
  • This timetable provides our students with an
opportunity to develop time management skills.
