• What is a channel driver?
• According to www.asterisk.org
• Each call into Asterisk must come in through a
  channel driver that supports a technology
  like SIP, ZAP, IAX2 etc.
• Program that allows PIKA cards to work with
  Asterisk

Before you begin

• gcc and glibc must be installed
• Kernel source must be installed
• Must disable SElinux
• Any 32-bit distro using kernel 2.6
• Must use the smp kernel (chan_pika)
• PIKA scripts check all of this! ?

• Extract Zaptel source
• tar -zxf zaptel-1.4.7.tar.gz -C /usr/src/
• PIKA uses ztdummy module 
• Extract PIKA channel driver source
• tar -zxf chan_pika-3.3.0.tgz -C /usr/src/
