• HART (Highway Addressable Remote Transducer)
• MSA device is a slave in a polled network

• HART Communication is a bi-directional industrial
  field communication protocol used to communicate
  between intelligent field instruments and host
  systems.
• HART provides two simultaneous communication
  channels
• 4-20mA analog signal
• Communicates the measured gas
• Fastest and most reliable in industry
• Digital signal
• Device status, diagnostics, additional measured /
  calculated values, etc
• Together, the two communication channels provide
  a complete field communication solution that is
  easy to use and configure, is low-cost and is
  very robust.
