  • Approved IEEE-SA Corporate Program Strategy
  • Gave strategic direction to program and process
  • See next slides for updates on strategy points
  • Approved entity Study Group guidelines
  • Sent to ProCom to see whether a merged document
    covering the individual process as well should be
    created
  • Examined role as Sponsor
  • Will create CAG Operations Manual to address
  • Removed requirement for corporate working group
    chairs to maintain individual IEEE membership
  • New Standards Conduct Committee will examine any
    ethical challenges
  • Specified that one person may serve as the entity
    member representative for only one entity

  • Exploring potential outreach visits during week

New Business Opportunities
  • Marketability ad hoc
  • Explored options with IEEE P1625
  • Supported research leading to BOG proposals
  • Ad hoc dissolved at this meeting

Corporate Program Funding Ad Hoc
  • Ad hoc created in May to examine corporate
    program funding
  • Changes and updates to EPP fee was primary focus
  • Proposal to require corporate membership endorsed
    in principle by CAG in August
  • In August, CAG asked ad hoc to include basic
    services in general fees
  • Calculations shown to CAG at this meeting
  • Complexity of fee grid led to reconsideration of
    direction
  • Ad hoc now asked to come up with one fee for all
    program costs
  • Will examine in 2008
  • Final proposals will be brought to BOG for
    approval
