Lead Play Ranger Vacancy   9.44 - 10.52 per
hour for 4 hours per week Two after
school/evening sessions each week, Term-time may
differ in school holidays
Leading the Play Way Project aims to provide open
access play opportunities for 8-13 year olds in
Parks, Parishes, and recreation grounds. We are
looking for two Lead Play Rangers to lead
and contribute to the development of the
sessions. We are interested in hearing from
candidates who have had experience in
delivering and supervising activity sessions for
young people. The Lead Play ranger will be
responsible for the leading in the delivery of
the weekly Open Access Play sessions for children
and young people aged 8-13 years at various parks
and parish halls across the borough and to help
lead in delivering play sessions over the school
holidays. In addition to this, the Lead Play
Ranger will also be responsible for supervising
the other member of staff working alongside
them. The ability to develop positive
relationships with children and young people,
offering support and constructive challenge, and
enabling their development into active and
responsible adult citizens. Candidates will need
to have effective communication and interpersonal
skills, and be able to act as a positive role
model to all children and young people.   This
role involves working with children and young
people and will be subject to an enhanced
Criminal Records Bureau disclosure.   For an
