Freedom

What do you think Freedom is?
  • Freedom is to be independent
  • People in third world countries are treated as
slaves, this is not them having their own
    freedom.
  • Christians see freedom as their duty to try help
    others .
  • And help others to have the same amount of
    freedom as us.

Justice
10
Justice
  • Is where you should all be treated fair.
  • And to be upright and honest
  • Most poor people would work and not get any wages
  • Christians feel that they have the duty to help
the poorer peoples lives and help them live a
    stable life, like we do.

for the rights of the poor
  • He died in a fight, and was buried in a secret
grave, as authorities didnt want his grave to
    become a shrine

16
He fought to stop this

17
ARCHBISHOP DOM HELDA CAMARA
18
  • Helder was an archbishop that spoke out for the
    poor
  • His greatest claim was to defend the rights or
    the poor through non violent
  • He believes that the force of truth , justice and
love is greater than that of wars, murder and
    hatred
  • He disagreed with farther Torres
  • When I give food to the poor they call me a
saint. When I ask why the poor have no food the
    call me a communist!

  • Could you live in this ????

20
  • ARCHBISHOP OSCAR ROMERO

21
  • Oscar Romero became archbishop of Salvador this
was when he became aware of suffering of the
    victims of violence and injustice.
  • He was taken in by the rich and the poor.
  • However his preaching soon distanced him from the
    rich
  • He received many death threats but still believed
    weapons were the wrong answer
  • The voice of this prophet was silenced in 1980
when he was shot in the heart while saying Mass.
