• Login using Xwin
• emacs .login
• Add these lines at the end of the file
• source /usr/usc/hspice/default/setup.csh
• setenv hspice /auto/hspice/2003.03/sun58/hspice
• setenv awaves /auto/hspice/2003.03/sun58/awaves

• Logout of your Xwin session
• Log on again using Xwin
• To run hspice, type hspice
• To run awaves, type awaves

Using HSPICE

• UNIX version of PSPICE from EE 326
• Command line hspice filename.sp
• .sp files are just like .cir files EXCEPT
• After the first line with the myfile, the
  second line must have .options post

• Awaves analyzes circuits simulated using HSPICE
