provide energy ratings for new builds, extensions
and converted change of use dwellings in order to
comply with requirements stated in Part L of
the Building Regulations (England and
Wales). SAP (Standard Assessment Procedure) is a
process of assessing the energy ratings of new
buildings, dwelling and extensions of new
dwellings for domestic purposes. The purpose of
SAP calculation is to fulfill the requirements
