Rehman Laboratories is a full spectrum facility,
certi?ed by Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory
Authority (IHRA) and National Institute of Health
(NIH) is established in Blue Area Islamabad and
other major cities of Pakistan. With the recent
havoc of pandemic coronavirus COVID-19, we are
providing accurate and reliable diagnostic
services of COVID-19 PCR, that meet the standards
of World Health Organization (WHO). An External
Quality Assurance (EQA), an objective assessment
of laboratory tests result, program has been set
by National Institute of Health (NIH), where its
virology department is rendering its services.

Accredited/Certi?ed Biosafety Cabinet Class II
B2, is used to store volatile, toxic, chemicals
and radionuclides for microbiological
studies. High throughput Automated RNA extractor
(Smart LabAssist-32) is a fully automated
magnetic bead-based nucleic acid extraction
system, the easy-to-use system can process 32
samples simultaneously within a short time (40 to
60 min), to obtain high purity nucleic
acid. Thermocycler-RT PCR AMPLIIab (IVD, CE
marked US FDA approved) was used to amplify
small segments of DNA via Polymerase Chain
Reaction. Real-time PCR is designed to collect
data as the reaction is proceeding, which is more
accurate for DNA and RNA quantitation and does
not require laborious post PCR methods. Auto
extraction kit (TAN Bead Nucleic Acid Extraction
Kit) is the advanced procedure in which magnetic
beads are used to extract nucleic acid. PCR kits
(ARGENE from BioMerieux France US FDA, CE, IVD
European multicenter trailed). Real-time PCR kit
for the detection of SARS-CoV-2, In?uenza A,
In?uenza B, RSV AB, and hMPV AB. It is one
all-in-one kit. Results delivered in 4 to 5 hours.
