All that You Should Know About Acreage in Victoria
  • Acreage is a property in Australia that is at
least one acre in size and is sometimes much
more. An acre is 4000 square metres. An acreage
is typically used for agricultural purposes and
can be as large as 20,000 square meters as
opposed to the average block size of 400-800
square meters.  If you want to live in a country
town while living in a major city, then The
Companys rural land for sale must be seen to be
believed and is an opportunity not to be missed!

Farmhouses
  • Farmhouses are the main attraction of any
residential farm. It is usually near the barn and
closer to the road than other structures.
    Multi-generational farms, for example, may
contain more than one farmhouse, and larger farms
    may also feature staff housing.

3
BARNS
  • Barns might be one or more depending on the
purpose of the farm.  Dairy farms, for example,
often contain large barns with animal stalls and
a milking facility. Large farms can have more
barns on their property to house various sorts of
    cattle.

4
COOPS FOR POULTRY
  • These are barns that are specifically intended
for rearing hens for meat or eggs. All poultry
coops give ample area for birds to roam freely,
but each coop model is meant to accommodate only
    one type.

5
LOAFING SHEDS
  • Loafing sheds, also known as run-in sheds, are
three-sided structures placed in a training field
or paddock. These sheds shield the horses from
the weather and create a safe and secure habitat
    for them.
  • Loafing shelters you will typically find in
regions with less foot traffic because here is
    where horses relax and decompress.
