Acne (Pimple) Treatment at Home 7 Ayurvedic
Remedies
Acne, also known as pimples, is a common skin
condition that occurs when hair follicles become
clogged with oil and dead skin cells. This can
lead to the formation of pimples, blackheads,
whiteheads, and other types of blemishes.
Acne can occur anywhere on the body, but it is
most commonly found on the face, chest, and back.
It is most commonly experienced during
adolescence but can affect people of all ages.
There are several factors that can contribute to
the development of acne, including genetics,
hormones, diet, and stress. While there is no
cure for acne, there are many treatments
available that can help manage symptoms and
prevent scarring.

Some common treatments for acne include
over-the-counter topical medications containing
benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, or retinoids,
as well as home remedies such as ice, Tea tree
oil, neem, green tea, and Aloe Vera
Gel. Additionally, Ayurveda, the traditional
system of medicine from India, offers several
remedies for acne. Here are a few Ayurvedic home
remedies for acne removal. Home Remedies for Acne
Treatment There are several home acne treatment
options that can be done at home. Here are a few
suggestions Turmeric Turmeric is a great spice.
When it comes to the skin, its antiinflammatory
and antioxidant properties help in getting rid of
acne. In fact, it brings a glow to your face by
reducing blemishes, spots, and freckles from your
face. To use it, take a pinch of organic turmeric
powder in a clean and dry bowl, and add one
tablespoon of honey to it. Mix it well and add
3-4 drops of castor oil to it. Keep this mixture
in the fridge for 10-15 minutes to cool down.
Then apply it to your face. Keep it on your face
for 20 minutes then wash it.
Neem
3
Neem has been used as a skin-healing remedy for
centuries. Neem is rich in vitamins, calcium,
antioxidants, and antibacterial properties. Which
makes it a great option to prevent breakouts
during summer. Not only this, it is a natural
antibacterial, which helps in moisturizing the
skin and increasing the productivity of collagen.
Also maintains a healthy glow on your face. To
use it, put a handful of neem leaves in 5 cups of
water and boil on low flame for one hour, leave
it overnight. Filter the water the next morning
and make a paste of these leaves. Now apply it to
the effective area. Leave it for 15-20 minutes,
then wash it with lukewarm water. Aloe Vera
Gel We all know the benefits of Aloe Vera very
well. Be it skin or hair, the medicinal
properties of aloe vera are beneficial for it.
Aloe vera can be used at home. Mix aloe vera gel
with honey, Multani Mitti, and turmeric and apply
the paste to the pimples. Pimples will disappear
in a few days. Triphala Triphala is an herbal
combination of three fruits that has antioxidant
and anti-inflammatory properties. You can mix
triphala powder with water to make a paste and
apply it to the affected areas.

Ice
Ice is beneficial for the face. It is used to
make the face shiny by closing the pores. Tie the
ice cube in a clean cloth. Then apply it to the
pimples area. You apply ice 2 to 3 times a week.
This dries up the pimples and doesn't leave any
marks. Tea tree oil Tea tree oil can be used for
spot treatment of acne. Tea tree oil has the
advantage that it works without the other
unwanted risks of bacterial resistance and
irritation. If you also have pimples on your
back, then start using tea tree oil. For this,
mix two to three drops of tea tree oil in aloe
vera gel and apply it on the back or only on the
affected area. Leave it like this for a while, so
that the skin absorbs the oil. Now clean the skin
of the back with warm water. Sandalwood Sandalwood
has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory
properties that can help to reduce acne. You can
mix sandalwood powder with rosewater and apply it
to the affected areas.

Apple vinegar
Acne treatment at home also includes apple cider
vinegar. Acne also occurs due to an imbalance in
the pH level of the skin. For this reason, apple
cider vinegar is used as a remedy to remove
pimples. Actually, apple vinegar works to balance
the pH of the skin. In addition, the
antibacterial properties of apple cider vinegar
can reduce acne by killing acne bacteria. Mix
half a teaspoon of water with one teaspoon of
apple vinegar and apply it on the face. After
some time wash the face with water. Conclusion It
is important to maintain good hygiene practices
and a healthy lifestyle to prevent the formation
of acne. Additionally, practice good skincare
habits, such as washing your face twice a day and
avoiding harsh scrubs and products that can
irritate the skin. In severe cases, it is
recommended to see a dermatologist for
personalized treatment options.
