• A vt head gasket is a component of an engine that
  seals the combustion chambers in an internal
  combustion engine. Head gaskets are a type of
  valve, and as such can be categorized by their
  intended use engine top or bottom. Engine top
  gaskets seal the top of the cylinder block and
  cylinder head while engine bottom gaskets seal
  the bottom of the cylinder block and cylinder
  head.
