Womens Plus Company Background
  • Womens first Ltd, a global fashion
manufacturer and retail company has decided that
they would like to update the current Point of
Sale (POS) systems, inclusive of software and
hardware components. The current (POS) system
being utilised by womens plus, cannot perform
the variety of functions required by the
individual retail outlets, and as a result of
this factor the company has experienced inventory
problems across a majority of their older retail
    outlets.
  • Since Womens first plans to implement a new
e-business division within the next 2 years, they
want to ensure that their POS infrastructure will
be compatible with the e-business division of the
    company. The companies planned e-business
infrastructure will not only facilitate online
purchasing, but will consolidate sales and
inventory statistics from retail outlets around
the globe. The CEO of Womens plus decided to
contract a (POS) consultancy firm to handle the
    procurement, implementation and Legal factors
involved in the upgrade of the current system.
  • After much consideration and negotiations,
Womens Plus Selected InterAustin Consultancy as
the consultancy company, that they would enlist
to handle the entire global POS systems upgrade
project for company. The decision to enlist the
services of InterAustin consultancy Services Inc,
was based on the experience of the company, and
the success of previous (POS) projects which had
    been completed.
