Introduction

• Owing to Taiwans unique location, you can see
  a variety of clothes at night markets. Taiwanese
  tai-ke style clothing is in fashion. Besides,
  you can find cheongsam, the traditional Chinese
  clothes, and cos-play costumes deeply influenced
  by Japanese culture. We also have Taiwan brands.
  Net, a world-known brand, is one of them. Well
  introduce them one by one with our pride.

Tai-Ke

• Tai-ke literally means a "Taiwanese character.
  Those Tai-kes enjoy Taiwanese-style dress and
  behavior code. Most importantly, they are proud
  of their Taiwanese identities.
• They wears flip-flops, loose-fitting pants and
  T-shirts.
• They like to wear gold necklaces and bracelets.
• They walk with extraordinary confidence.
• Some of them chew betel-nuts.
• In fact, they dont always wear the same things.
• Mostly, they are passionate and show the spirits
  of Taiwanese!!

Cheongsam Tang costume
Traditional Chinese costumes. Shops selling Tang
costumes can be found at night markets. Nowadays
people usually dont wear them for daily life but
for performance or special occasions.

Cos-Play
This comes from Japan. At night markets,
sometimes you can see them playing roles. Some of
them play roles for activities, such as parades
or special holiday events, but mostly for
fun. There are shops at night markets where you
can find Cos-play costumes. They dress themselves
up as characters from manga, anime, online games
or cartoons.
