• One of the most important aspects to effective

• Research shows that as little as 7 to 30 of
  meaning of communication comes from words the
  rest comes from body language

  someone with head, feet, and body

  to get across different meanings and emotions

• Establish eye contact with the speaker early in
  the conversation
• Lean forward to show interest
• Limit distracting mannerisms
