Topical Pain Relief
Muscle pain can be an excruciatingly difficult
situation for anyone. Luckily, there are a number
of options available out there to help people
deal with the pain, from a fast relief gel to
Ayurvedic remedies, the options are endless. Most
of these treatments are applied directly to the
skin i.e topical treatments. Finding the right
one for you can be a bit of a task. Lets get
into the details of the various options available
and compare their relative merits.
3
Essential Oils
Many people swear by essential oils when it comes
to looking for muscle pain relief options. While
some opt for peppermint, others claim that
rosemary and sage are all good options. While
most such oils do have pain relieving properties,
none of them are able to actively block pain on
their own. This is why you need to rely on good
products that integrate various properties of
these oils.

Heat based massage oils
We all know that massage oils and pain relief
oils are not great alternatives to an effective
back pain gel. Many of them have Ayurvedic
ingredients and properties and most use a mix of
essential oils, natural herbs, and other natural
ingredients to simulate the feeling of heat on
the spot where you feel pain. Although they might
be good for joint pains they might not always be
the best solution for instant relief that can get
you moving like normal again.

Cold Therapy Gels
  • Lately, cold therapy is all the rage when it
comes to muscle pain management. As a result, you
now have a few interesting products that simulate
the sensation of applying ice on your body and in
fact, work exactly the way ice does too. Their
cooling properties penetrate your skin to the
affected muscle and help block pain receptors to
the brain. They are extremely easy to use, do not
stink or stain clothes, and are pretty effective
    as well.

Finding the right solutions
  • Depending on the kind of pain you are going
through and the way you experience that pain,
different options may work for different people.
Dont settle for the first thing that you stumble
upon or thats suggested to you just because you
feel some sort of temporary relief. Instead, read
up on alternatives that are proven to help and
try to understand the kind of pain you
    experience.
