just like humans He can only be Divine if He is
sinless

Law required unblemished sacrifice Ex. 125
Lev. 22 without blemish Christ was without
spot Heb. 914 1 Pet. 119 without blemish

Innocent must suffer for the guilty His death
could not have atoned for sin, if he was sinful
! If Jesus had been guilty of sin he would not
have been an acceptable sacrifice !

If Jesus had not been sinless then... He would
have violated O.T. types He would have violated
O.T. prophecies He would have violated doctrine
of atonement
Instead of saving others, He would need saving !

III. He Set a Perfect Example for man to follow
We need a perfect example We follow others only
as they follow Christ 1 Cor. 111 Jesus showed
the way - Heb. 414-16 We must walk in his steps
- 1 Pet. 221-22

Sinless Life of Jesus
Jesus was more than simply without sin. He was a
model of holiness. He lived a life of
excellence. He is Immanuel - God With Us Human
and divine Divinity required that He be without
Sin !!
