• What is CAPECITABINE?
• Capecitabine is used to treat breast or
  colorectal cancer that has spread to other parts
  of the body.

• How should I take CAPECITABINE?
• Follow all directions on your prescription label
  and read all medication guides or instruction
  sheets. Use the medicine exactly as directed.
• Capecitabine is usually taken twice per day, and
  may be only part of a treatment program that may
  also include other medications taken on different
  schedules. Follow your doctor's dosing
  instructions very carefully.
• Take with food or within 30 minutes after eating
  a meal.
• Swallow the tablet whole with water and do not
  crush, chew, or break it. Tell your doctor if you
  have trouble swallowing the tablet whole.
• Capecitabine is given in a 3-week treatment
  cycle, and you may only need to take the medicine
  during the first 2 weeks of each cycle. Your
  doctor will determine how long to treat you with
  capecitabine.
• Call your doctor if you are sick with vomiting or
  diarrhea, or if you are sweating more than usual.
  You can easily become dehydrated while taking
  capecitabine. This can lead to very low blood
  pressure, a serious electrolyte imbalance, or
  kidney failure.

What happens if I miss a dose? Take the medicine

• Capecitabine
• Get emergency medical help if you have signs of
  an allergic reaction (hives, difficult breathing,
  swelling in your face or throat) or a severe skin
  reaction (fever, sore throat, burning eyes, skin
  pain, red or purple skin rash with blistering and
