How Planning Works A development team approach
to all building proposals in Kennet. How to
apply for planning permission and building regs
approval.
  • Sketch out some ideas of the building works you
    want to do.
  • Discuss these with a builder to make sure they
    are feasible.
  • Fill in the Do I need to make a planning
application? form and send the information to
    us.
  • We aim to give you a free written reply within 10
    working days.
  • Some building works or changes of use do not
    require planning permission.
  • We cannot give verbal advice because every case
    is different.
