Title: Central City Lutheran Mission

1
Central City Lutheran Mission
  • A Community of
  • Hope
  • And
  • Healing

2
Vision
  • Central City Lutheran Mission is a community of
partners assisting people on the margins of
society, empowering people with health, hope,
    dignity and life changing opportunities.

3
Mission
  • Through experiential learning, relationship
building, and a safe nurturing environment, CCLM
seeks to empower the community, develop leaders,
    promote community literacy, transform economic
conditions, and improve health and safety. To
facilitate this mission, CCLM provides healing,
encouragement, food and housing to a community in
    need.

4
Core Values
  • Grace Following the example of God, who loves
each one of us unconditionally, CCLM offers
unconditional love and forgiveness to all of the
people with whom we are partners.
  • Compassion The pain and sorrow we see around us
we also share, and so we reach out to bring
healing, hope and opportunity to those in need.
  • Integrity Without trust, our mission would be
without value. We honor the integrity, courage,
    commitment, openness, and trustworthiness
required to build this trust in each other and in
    those we serve.
  • Commitment Because God will never turn away
from us, we will never turn away or turn aside
from our mission or from the people who are the
    sole focus of that mission.
  • Respect We honor others, regardless of our
distinctions and differences. We treat all
persons as we would like to be treated.
  • Service We agree together to live and to work
every day with the needs of others, both
colleagues and clients, foremost with our hearts
    and first with our hands.
