INFLUENCER TIPS WHAT DO BRANDS LOOK FOR IN
INFLUENCERS?
2
First and foremost, you have to find
your niche, which is basically a specialized
segment of the market for a particular kind of
product or service. Finding your niche is much
easier than the definition. Do this simple
exercise go through your social media timeline
and see if you can find a theme from your posts.
Are there certain things that you are often
posting about? That could be your niche. Now that
you know the area where you stand better chances
of being an influencer, here are two of the most
important things brands look for in influencers
An influencer has the ability to influence
potential buyers of a product or service by
promoting or recommending the items on social
media. As every brand wants to sell something,
social media is becoming the best influencer
marketing platform in India. With the emergence
of new brand influencer agencies in India, it has
now become more important than ever to know how
to become an influencer.

YOUR REACH AND NUMBER OF INTERACTIONS
The reach is what defines your type as an
influencer. Are you a micro, a macro, or a
mega-influencer? But more importantly, brands
want to know if your followers actively interact
with your posts. The average number of
interactions from your community of followers is
a great way to gauge your performance and
potential as an influencer. When you consistently
produce creative and interesting content, more
people will react, comment, and share it, and
thats when brands will know youre the right
person to work with.

Your past campaigns with other brands can provide
a lot of information to the brands that are
interested in working with you. As the brands are
often from the same niche, they can understand
the way your audience reacts to such posts.
Brands also want to know if youve worked with a
competitor brand earlier and speculate how your
community could react to this new partnership.
Most importantly they want to see if the previous
campaign performed well.
Not just brands, but all the top influencer
agencies look for these things in an influencer.
At its most basic level, being an influencer
boils down to maintaining an active social
profile and building an image that your audience
and the brands will love. Lastly, if you like
what you read, share it with your fellow
marketers. Happy influencing!
