3 Harvasting The Cherries
Coffee Tree will take long time to produce bear fruits. These bear fruits are called Coffee Cherries. The Coffee Cherries are ripe, deep red color and ready to be Harvested.
All the coffee cherries are striped of the tree at one time.
4 Processing The Cherries
For this process two method are used
The Dry Method
The Wet Method
The Dry Method is the old method of processing coffee. The freshly picked Coffee cherries are simply spread out on huge surfaces to dry in the sun. In order to prevent the cherries from spoiling, covered at night or during rain to prevent them from getting wet. This Process will continue Several Week.
The Wet Method removes the pulp from the coffee cherry after harvesting so the bean is dried with only the parchment skin left on. First, the freshly harvested cherries are passed through a pulping machine to separate the skin and pulp from the bean. Then Theses Coffee Cherries Passed through a Water Channel.
5 Drying THe Coffee Beans
After Passed through Water Channel. Coffee cherries are simply spread out on huge surfaces to dry in the sun. When it's Dry Beans still inside the parchment envelope. After proper drying Parchment skin removes by Hulling Machine.
6 Exporting The Coffee Beans
After Milling the Coffee Cherries Beans. This Beans are Ready to Export. These Beans are in Green Color and Called Green Coffee. After Exporting these Coffee Beans are Tested for Quality and Taste.
