Computing Facilities
The University recognizes the key role that IT
plays in teaching as well as research. Therefore,
it is committed to provide computing facilities
of the highest standards. A high-speed optical
fibre network of 1Gbps through two ISPs with
wireless redundancy allows all students to access
a range of services across our entire campus
including student hostels with more than 200
access points.

Libraries
Libraries are the hub of academic life of the
campus. Housed in spacious halls, the Libraries
are well stacked with text books, technical
journals, periodicals, and reference material for
advanced research and development work. The
schools also subscribe to DELNET and other
Internet Libraries. Modern aids to Education,
including online digital libraries, Audio/Video
records of renowned academicians are available in
Sharda University campus in different blocks of
libraries. It remains open 14 hours a day from 8
a.m. to 10 p.m. on all days, and up to 19-20
hours a day during examinations. One Air
Conditioned Central library is under development
phase which will remain open 24x7.

Workshops
Training students in a practical environment is a
vital part of our academic plans, considering
that the practical exposure is an inevitable
aspect of a student's overall development
regarding subject understanding and related
concepts. Sharda University offers modern
workshop facilities, as an integral part of the
course curriculum.

Classrooms
The Teaching-Learning pedagogy used in the
classrooms is IT enabled and all classrooms are
fitted with LCD projectors and sound systems. The
lecture halls can accommodate upto 200 students
while the tutorial classes are designed for a
strength of 30-40 students.We have a LAN-enabled
campus, on which a Learning Management
System(LMS) is made available, which can
facilitate students to discuss academic topics,
submit their assignments online, see their class
notes, study through specially designed learning
resources, and also refer to reference and
digital library.

Auditoriums/Seminar Rooms
The University has many Auditoriums and Seminar
Rooms equipped with the latest audio visual
facilities for guest lectures, seminars,
presentations, and other academic activities.
Besides, every school has a Conference/Board room
for meetings, faculty presentations, and
discussions. One more auditorium with capacity of
1200 Students will be completed by December 2016.

Students Activities Center
SPIC MACAY (Society for Promotion of Indian
Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth) is a
voluntary organization that promotes Indian
cultural arts by organizing several performances
of renowned artists. Sharda University has
partnered with SPIC MACAY to provide students and
staff of Shardaan opportunity to not only attend
high-quality cultural events right here in our
campus but also to explore and enhance their own
cultural talents. In the busy schedule of
academic activities, SPIC MACAY chapter brings in
a sense of relaxation and also helps in
developing a better understanding of the Indian
culture.

Health Care Facilities
Students of Sharda University have access to
medical facilities within the campus as
University has a world class 900 bed Multi
specialty hospital with all modern medical
facilities such as General Medicine, ICU, Trauma
centre, 3 Tesla MRI, CT Scan, ECG, X-Ray and
Laboratory Investigation. Health insurance cover
for all students is one of the additional
services under active consideration.
