Testing Mission
  • Conduct Fitness Evaluations for FIRST CLASS
    ONLY!
  • APFT, IOCT, Alternative Tests (Bike/Swim)
  • Advise BTD, Cadet Chain of Command, and PDOs in
    the planning coordination of Commandants
    Physical Remediation Program (CPRP)
  • Maintain test statistics for First Class cadets
    only

Testing Requirements
  • IOCT
  • 2nd class only tested for record (stand alone
    fitness test)
  • 1st class cadets who are No Credit or
    unremediated failures from previous year are
    required to continue to test until they pass
  • APFT
  • Each Firstie takes 2 record tests a year with DPE
    (look like your class)
  • Underclass APFT administered by the Firsties
  • SAP athletes will run (see scale)
  • No Show F
  • Unless prior coordination, no shows will receive
    an F, must continue to test
  • Will receive one letter grade lower
  • CPRP
  • Mandatory for all cadets that fail a record APFT
    (minus in-season CS Athletesdone at team level)
  • Executed / supervised by cadet CoC TAC team
    (see next slide for details)

CPRP
  • USCC SOP
  • Enrollment in CPRP/CZCP results in revoked
    privileges enforced by TAC
  • Fail to meet minimum age gender-specific
    standards on a Graded Record APFT
  • Commandants Intent shift responsibility for
    remediation from the institution (DPE) to the
    Cadet Chain of Command (CoC), supervised by TAC
    team
  • Commandant Dean Approved Times Mondays and
    Wednesdays 0530-0630 and Fridays 1630-1800
  • Out of Season Corps Squad Athletes WILL
    participate in CPRP

BDE PDO Duties/Responsibilities
  • Intermediary between DPE and Company PDOs
  • Supervise and advise all Company PDOs
  • Track all First Class 90 Day Retests, coordinate
    with DPE for test
  • Coordinate and track all underclass record APFTs
  • Including Corps Squad
  • Consolidate all Firstie alternate APFTs (bike,
    etc.) and coordinate with DPE for administration.
  • Coordinate with DPE for use of bikes for
    underclass testing

PDO Duties/Responsibilities
  • Develop CPRP remediation plans
  • Visit DPE website, Testing, PDO Training link
    (see below) for examples
  • Coordinate with TAC team DPE personnel on
    request
  • ICW TAC CoC, execute CPRP remediation plan for
    failures
  • Coordinate with BDE PDO/Testing Office for 90-day
    retests (see next slide for details)
  • Coordinate APFT execution with TAC
  • Responsible for calibration
  • Test administered to FM 21-20 standards
  • Maintain records for your company
    (retests/failures, CS/Club athletes, profiles,
    etc)
  • Track CPRP roster all 90-day retest
    requirements
  • Bi-Monthly meetings for BDE RGT PDOs
  • COMMUNICATION w/ DPE testing guidance
    offices!!!

90-Day Retest Guidelines
  • DPE administers ALL retests for First Class ONLY!
  • DPE WILL NOT TEST
  • Within 90 days from date of failure
  • If on profile or profile recovery (2x length of
    profile not to exceed 90 days)
  • If not counseled with a copy signed by TAC
  • Conducted on the LAST Friday of each month AND
    during scheduled DPE APFT dates (see testing
    schedule)
  • BDE PDO will notify testing office NLT noon on
    Wednesday prior to Fridays test
