Introduction

• Amrutha Ayurvedic Medical College,
  Chitradurga, is sponsored by Sri Devaraj Urs
  Vidhya Samsthe in Chitradurga. The college was
  started during the academic year 1996-97 to
  emphasize the course of Indian traditional
  medicine.
• The institution provides a range of basic
  study facilities including well equipped
  laboratories, library, well trained staff and
  herbarium. Students coming from far off places
  can benefit by staying at the institution hostel.
• The ayurvedic medical college has a sound
  infrastructure and is a fully equipped 120-bedded

Course

• B.A.M.S (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine
  Surgery)
• The institution provides B.A.M.S. degree
  of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Services,
  Bangalore. It is approved by the Central Council
  of Indian Medicine, Government of India.

Eligibility

• B.A.M.S (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine
  Surgery)
• An applicant should have passed Pre-University
  exam with English as one of the languages and
  biology, Physics and Chemistry as optional
  subjects with a minimum of 50 marks (aggregate
  of the subjects Biology, Physics and Chemistry)
• Applicants who have passed B.Sc. (CBZ) with an
  additional Physics paper and secured at least 50
  marks in the aggregate are also eligible for
  admission.
• For SC/ST (Karnataka Category), the minimum
  percentage of marks required for admission is
  40.
• The applicant must have completed 17 years of age
  on or before December 31 of the year of admission
• The applicant must be medically fit.
