Loading tips while moving home from one place to
another
  • Moving your home from one place to another is
quite exciting since you are going to live in a
new place make new friends in the a new
neighborhood. If you are getting a home with
added facilities (a lawn Swimming pool or even a
Jacuzzi) or more rooms your lifestyle is going to
change. The kids will have a bigger and better
room for themselves and will surely be living in
awe for a few weeks since the transition from one
place to another is going to take them in a sort
    of new world.
  • To make your moving simple and seamless make sure
you plan ahead of time to ensure there are no
last minute hiccups and you enjoy your moving to
the core. Loading your belongings to be
transported to the new destination will be the
first thing on your agenda of moving. However
before loading and packing your stuff into the
moving boxes make sure to get your supply of
packing boxes in advance. There are a few moving
and packing boxes companies that keep offering
discounts for your moving and packing needs.

The company offering moving and packing boxes
will be able to advice you on the number of boxes
you are going to require depending upon the rooms
you are living in right now. Planning to load
eases out the fatigue and reduces loading
time Planning is important in all aspects of
life. A good plan means half of the job is
accomplished. While planning to load your home
items make sure you have got enough supplies of
moving blankets or paper padding, mattress and
furniture cover (to save furniture and mattresses
from dust and getting spoilt in the process of
transportation), packing tape, moving straps,
work gloves ad filler items like pillows, stuffed
toys, clothes, linen etc. Execution of the plan
before loading your cardboard boxes While
packing the stuff into cardboard boxes we have a
tendency to pack it in a haphazard manner since
we are in a rush. But if you are able to spend
sometime thinking about placing similar sized
stuff in same boxes you are going to save a lot
of time later on. Look for kitchen items of same
size and pack them up in one two or three
cardboard boxes depending upon the number of
items you have in your kitchen. Same ways pack
your fragile items with a lot of packing and
padding. Be generous with the padding and packing
since this is going to ensure that your goods are
transported safely.
3
Instances of scratches, gouges and broken items
can be avoided easily with generous packing
material around fragile items including
glassware, glass table tops, photo frames
etc. Loading the items Things you need to take
care The actual loading needs to be seamless and
obstacle free to ensure speedy and safe
transportation of your goods from your current
location to the new location. Having an obstacle
free route from the door of the house to the
trailer or truck is going to be a big advantage.
Ensure to have a tarp or a plastic sheet on the
floor of the trailer to protect your stuff from
dust. While stacking your items make sure you
start from the cabin side and move backwards
creating 2-3 tiers which preferably reach to the
top of the trailer. Pack all items tightly and
ensure to fill in the empty spaces with fillers
like pillows, mattresses, linen or anything else
that is not breakable and is soft on the items.
This placement of fillers between the items will
ensure that your items dont rub or hit one
another while the trailer is moving. Thin legged
tables need to be placed at the top where they do
not have anything above them. Mark all fragile
items with the words FRAGILE or Handle with
care. Secure all items with ropes and packing
tapes so that they do not move in transportation
and reach their destination safely. Article
