Day 01 - Cochin - Munnar
  • Munnar is breathtakingly
    beautiful, a haven of peace and tranquility - the
    idyllic tourist destination in Gods own country,
    situated on the Western Ghats at the height of
    1600 metres above the sea level. It is famous for
    tea plantations. On the way to Munnar enjoy
    sightseeing like Cheeyappara ,Valara waterfalls,
    Karadipara View Point, Rose Garden and Attukal
    Waterfalls. Arrive and check in to the hotel then
    proceed to sightseeing like Kannan Devan Tea
    Museum, enjoy sights of tea plantations and visit
    CSI Church. Overnight stay at hotel or resort.

Day 02 - Munnar
  • Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast then proceed
    for a sightseeing trip of Munnar. Flower show,
    Photo point, Honey Bee Tree, Mattupetty Dam,
    which offers many fascinating sights to relish.
    At Mattupetty Boating and Speed Boating facility
    are available.The Shola forests around Mattupetty
    are ideal for trekking and bird watching, with
    the variety of birds found there. Later visit
    Echo point, Shooting point, Kundala Lake,
    Mountain streams like Kundala, Mudrapuzha
    Nallathanni, Kundala Dam Top station, Overnight
    stay at the Hotel / Resort and experience the
    cool mountain air.

Day 03 - Munnar - Thekkady
  • After a refreshing breakfast, check out
    from the hotel and drive to Thekkady. Drive
    through panoramic western ghat hills covered with
    spice plantations and occasional view of water
    falls and streams. Visit Periyar Wildlife
    Sanctuary, Periyar Lake, Murikkady, that provides
    a panoramic view of cardamom, coffee and pepper
    plantations or you can also go for Pandikuzhi, It
    is around 5 km from kumily, this place is ideal
    for trekking and is a photographers delight.
    Later visit Kadathanadan Kalari Centre. You can
    watch Kathakali show. Overnight stay at the Hotel
    / Resort.

Day 04 - Thekkady - Kumarakom
  • The main attraction of Kumarakom is it's
    backwaters with hundreds of kettuvallams
    crisscrossing it and numerous resorts nestling on
    its banks.There are boat rides on offer here
    where you can take hourly or day cruises. Trips
    through the backwaters cross shallow,
    palm-fringed lakes, and travel along narrow,
    shady canals where coir (coconut fibre), copra
    (dried coconut meat) and cashews are loaded onto
    boats. Along the way are small villages with
    mosques, churches, temples and schools you can
    view villagers going for their daily activities,
    traditional Fishing Operations and Lush Green
    Rice Fields from your boat.

Day 05 - Kumarakom - Kovalam
  • Kovalam was among the most prominent
    tourist spots in India during the hippy era. It
    still has a high status among tourists, who
    arrive mostly from Europe. Sunbathing, swimming,
    special cultural programs and catamaran cruising
    are some of them. Enjoy sight seeing like
    Vizhinjam Rock Cut Cave, Vizhinjam Marine
    Aquarium, Kovalam Light House, Eve's Beach,
    Samudra Beach, Vellayani Lake where you can go
    for boat ride. Then return back to the beach and
    enjoy the serene beach sunset. Overnight stay at
    the Hotel or Resort.

Day 06 - Kovalam
  • After break fast, you will be driven to
    Padmanabh Swami Temple, Veli Tourist Village.
    Veli Tourist Village is a picnic spot, where the
    Veli Lake meets the Arabian Sea, offers boating
    facilities. On the way to Veli you can visit
    Thuppanathu Kavu Devi, Murugan Temple, Chudukad
    Devi Temple, Pachalloor Thookka Mudipura Hanuman
    Kovil, Hanuman Temple Street, Shanghumugham
    Beach, Veli. Then reach Veli Tourist Village,
    here Pedalboats and paddleboats can be hired to
    explore the charms of the lagoon in a leisurely
    manner. Overnight stay at the Hotel / Resort.

Day 07 - Kovalam - Trivandrum
  • Arrive at the Trivandrum then take sightseeing
    in Trivandrum. Visit Padmanabhaswamy Temple, one
    of the wealthiest temples in India built in 8th
    century BC. It is located on a stone slab and the
    main idol, which is about 18 ft long, can be
    viewed through three different doors. The head
    and chest are seen through the first door, while
    the hands can be sighted through the second door
    and the feet through the third door. After
    Visiting temple visit Chalai Market, Subrahmanya
    Temple, Kuthiramalika Palace, Trivandrum Zoo,
    Napier Museum, SriChitra Art Gallery, East
    Fort,Ganapathy Temple, Shanghumugham Beach, St.
    Sebastian Church, Veli, Veli Lake and Tourist
    Village Akkulam Boat Club.
