• The Auto Show is a biennial international
  automobile show held in Delhi. It is Asias
  biggest and the worlds second-largest motor
  show. The concept of the Auto Show was originated
  in 1985 and the first show was held in 1986 which
  was inaugurated by the then Prime Minister, Mr
  Rajiv Gandhi.
• This year the show will be Bigger, Better and
  More Attracting
• The Auto Expo 2016 will be held at India Expo
  Mart in Greater Noida, Delhi NCR from February 5
  to 9, 2016 with a tagline Bigger, Better and
  More Attracting. This five-day international
  auto exhibition is organized by the Automotive
  Component Manufacturers Association India (ACMA)
  along with the Confederation of Indian Industries
  (CII), the Society of Indian Automobile
  Manufacturers (AIAM) and is accredited by the
  Paris-based Organisation Internationale des
  Constructeurs dAutomobiles (OICA). A Components
  Exhibition will also be held from 4th to 7th
  February 2016 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

• The participating companies are Ashok Leyland,
  Audi, Abarthi, Atul, BMW, Chevrolet, Datsun, DSK
  Benelli, Eicher, FIAT, Fait Chrysler Automobile
  (FCA) Force, Ford, Hero, Honda Cars, Honda
  Twowheelers, Hyundai, Jaguar Land Rover, Jeep,
  JBM Group, Lohia, Mahindra Reva, Mahindra Rise,
  Mahindra Two Wheelers, Maruti Suzuki,
  Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Piaggio Vehicle Pvt. Ltd.,
  Renault, Revolta, Motors, Scania, SML Isuzu,
  Isuzu, Speeco, Tata Motors, Toyota, Triumph, TVS,
  UM, VE Commercial Vehicles, Volkswagen and
  Yamaha.
• The scale of this edition of the Auto Expo - The
  Motor Show, would go up a couple of notches. We
  have made conscious efforts to ensure that the
  expo becomes bigger, better and more exciting for
  all the stakeholders- organizers, exhibitors and
  visitors alike. A lot of hard work has been put
  into ensure that the event is a success. We are
  very confident that the show would live up to the
  expectations of all the people involved, Mr
  Sugato Sen, the Deputy Director General of one of
  the organizers, SIAM, said.

• Total 65 vehicle manufacturers will participate
• The Auto Expo Motor Show 2016 will have a total
  65 vehicle manufacturers as against last year's
  55 exhibitors with increased indoor space,
  organizers said.
•  
• In addition to the line-up of the previous
  edition of the Auto Expo, four-wheeler
  manufacturers like Revolta Motors, Force Motors,
  Jeep, Abarth and Dhasan Moto will also be present
  at the venue.
• In the two-wheeler category, BMW Motorrad, DSK
  Benelli and Indian motorcycles from Polaris are
  new additions.
