Pailton Parish Plan General Survey
  • Crime Interpretation Actions
  • We think the relative level of crime is low when
    compared with neighbouring villages
  • But the responses do reflect genuine concern
  • Levels of vandalism are perceived to have dropped
    in the last six months
  • These concerns have been relayed to the Police
and a public meeting is to be held on the 21st
    November in the Village Hall

Parking Problems
  • There were 173 respondents to this subject
  • The majority cited lack of space in the village
    centre - 108 (62)
  • 19 (11) also commented on lack of space outside
    the Village Hall
  • It is unlikely that either the space or resources
could ever be found to address the problem at
    these locations
  • Planners however, need to made aware that any
further development in the immediate vicinity
does not make the situation worse
  • Further development elsewhere in the village must
include adequate facilities for parking both for
residents and for visitors to prevent the problem
    spreading
  • It is worth noting that visitors are most likely
to be using cars owing to the villages location
and relatively poor public transport links
